RussHi, I am predominantly a Sony shooter but looking at buying a second body, interested in the Olympus pro capture option but don't want to jump in with the latest and greatest model to start with so what model would you suggest for starters along with a 100-400mm lens? (NOT the £6000 model)
Many Thanks. Russ.
Hi, sorry looking at a newer option. Thankyou.Russ
I have just put my mk2 E-M1 up in the classifieds, should you be interested.
Richard
Have a look at WEX I ordered one yesterday.Your recent pictures have actively got me searching for a decent condition E-M1X.
Gotta admit I’ve been looking myself. Great value right now.Your recent pictures have actively got me searching for a decent condition E-M1X.
Like all technology Pro Cap is (just?) another string to the bowI just love the Pro Capture feature of the OM1. It's a bit like cheating!!

A couple of shots from a trip earlier in the week to photograph Dippers (my first time).
The river was virtually in flood, so the perches were very limited, and the light was poor.
Both were processed in Topaz Photo AI.
Shot with the OM1 and 100-400mm.

@russellsnrJeff, see you online,I'm in my wood hide and the rear icd is on all the time is there a way to turn it off please?
.... Simply flip/close the screen so it's facing into the camera body. Then when you open it you will see the Live View display whenever you want.Jeff, see you online,I'm in my wood hide and the rear icd is on all the time is there a way to turn it off please?
Great thanks@russellsnr
Not sure if this helps?
Disable EVF Auto Switch then press Live View button twice. LCD screen off and EVF on.
Then hit Ok button and SCP displays in viewfinder. Use dials and arrows to change settings without diving into menu.
You can virtually shoot and change all SCP settings without displaying SCP on LCD screen.
Hi, always turn off the screen if I can to save a little battery power as I always also use the viewfinder, old habits I suppose.missed that post you sorted now I presume .I always leave screen facing in
