They were on the Canon as I was working on resisting the 150-400 temptation

I put a couple of hare pics in my 52 for the damp theme - and I added one pic of the eagle to the R thread. The hen harrier pic was utterly rubbish - almost a silhouette against the grey sky. I only took the pic as I couldn't ID it. It was smaller than a buzzard and bigger than a kestrel. Once home I could see the tell tale white rump stripe. It means they are about though!
I was a bit worried about the kestrel too, however I saw her a few days running and in fact I suspect this is her a month earlier, mating. (but on the R5 - shh!). I suspect she had chicks in there.

I don"t normally share pics unless there is a narrative of interest but confess I was very, very excited to see the eagle, so that nearly got shared everywhere ha ha!
