This did catch my eye...... especially the audio recorder and the binoculars ~ neither are "really" needed but both tempting in their own ways :thinking:

Because I'm very new to posting images on the site the one above was sent by email to myself which was reduced in size and then posted on here. The original image does look a bit sharper than the one above. I can see people/members use Flickr to put there images on this site but that's something I have no clue on how to do.

Hi ,Flickr is easy to use ,if you join you will get a “free” account which allows you 1000 uploads so as long as you stay below that level or delete older images that’s fine and it stays free ..a PRO account is not expensive either and allows you unlimited uploads .. once you have some pics on there just ask and one of us will guide you through the process of posting to here .as shots are high def. It gives a superior finish to

The Black Fox. thanks for that information and I will give Flickr a coat of looking at. I actually think I joined it a long time back but I could be wrong.
Cheers

There must be an easier way of posting images here.

I export mine from Lightroom to my desktop as a jpeg then click on the "add image" symbol above (a "mountain" on the rhs with a "sun" on the left). It gives you the option to search your pc for the image, find it on your desktop click on it, and you're there. It needs to be less than 500KB ( I think that's the limit). There's no intermediate stage._B070584-Edit-2.jpg

Like this brambling!

suppose thats do-able Jeremy but I post to other forums media as well so a quick cut and paste from flickr is easier plus your not using the forum webspace allowance up by hosting it from elsewhere

Tech question again guys. I’ve got an omd em5 mark 2 however I can’t get the rear lcd to show live view! Pressing info doesn’t do anything neither

Is there still no Reversible hood for the P25 f1.4 ? Am thinking of adding one to my ” just one lens” collection…

Tried all that! The screen just shows the control panel kind of thing, where you can view all the camera settings or alter something like the AF point etc

Hi Jeremy12953. thanks for that information and i will try putting pictures on using your method the next time i have one to post.

@stickytape
As Alf said, try the fn3 button on the right side of the viewfinder.
Just had a play with my 5mkii and that disables the live view but allows the scp to work.
Needs a quick press on fn3 when the scp is showing to get the live view back.

after two long covid and lockdown years , it made me smile to get a short eared owl in the camera again ,even though it was a impossible long range shot I pulled it off .it can only get better now

New member of TalkPhotography here. Joining here because all my good photos are taken with one of two Olympus TG-6 cameras. Specialty: Macro photography, specifically of mosses (Bryophyta). I have two because I have done some scientific videography of mosses and used two TG-6s on tripods focused upon the same subject.
