Aye £90! Rate differences suggest £5.38 for every £100 spent so they've priced themselves out of greed rather than necessity. I have my Fuji bodies anyway so not really a need for going pen-f.£90 already! You may have a long wait.
Luckily for me I get paid in Euros. Tee hee.![]()

yep i know what you mean, i still use my mk1 om-d- e10 must admit the focus stacking on the new versions appeals
thank you, yep poor word choose by me-but either way mine does neitherOnly the EM1 does focus stacking, the others only do focus bracketing.
The EM5ii also does focus stacking.Only the EM1 does focus stacking, the others only do focus bracketing.

When did that happen? The EM5ii also does focus stacking.

It does focus bracketing.
As I said it does focus braketing. Those shots need stacking in software in post production.I'm not sure when it changed as I've only recently bought an EM5ii, but under the bracketing menu there's definitely a Focus BKT option at the bottom. Mine's on firmware 2.2 if it helps.
It wont do it I expect. Do you have a smartphone or tablet you can use the OI share app or you will need a cable release mechanical or electronic. Some great shots in this thread, so pleased I got rid of my Canon gear and came back to m4/3. Can I just ask though, I've been trying to do HDR panoramas indoors (new house, re-decorating etc) and for the life of me once I'm in HDR mode I'm unable to set the drive mode to 2 s delay silent shutter. I can do it the other way i.e. set drive mode first and then HDR. Just seems odd. I could of course be doing it all wrong.
For reference I'm using a PEN-F and 17mm, but I have a feeling the menu will be the same as the em10 mk2 and em5 mk2?
Any ideas?
Ah I see - sorry. I misunderstood the terms, but you have to admit that is a bit confusingAs I said it does focus braketing. Those shots need stacking in software in post production.
That is not in camera focus stacking.

Yes it'll be the IBIS
The size is why I upgraded to the em1 when I had the chance - better balanced imo
hi there, ive had both 3rd party and the oly grip and its worth just saving up and getting the oly one. third party tend to be bulky and you usually have to use a screw thread to take it on and off for battery changes and mem card changes. Thanks for confirming on the noise. It stops if I turn on the OIS on the Panansonic lens so I guess the lens and camera are talking to each other about stabilisation.
I can't afford an EM1 but I may have to invest in a grip. The offical one is a bit pricey, any recommendations for a third party one?
Still a wee bit more than a grip for my em10.There's an e-m1 on e-group for £375..
