Olympus OM-D E-M5, E-M1, E-M10 - Mk1, Mk2 & Mk3 Owners Thread

Been having a play with a couple of manual lenses. Totally amazed by the detail these old lenses are capable of capturing. Focus peaking is coolio! :D

And the 25mm isn't a bad lens either ;)

Obviously all with OCF :)

Check 'em out in Lightbox on Flickr for max res/detail. :D

lol, you cross forum'ers you!

Yep, after six flippin goes I finally have the E-M1 coming :D

It's tight isn't it - after all, it's not like the lenses are cheap so they can't afford it

Three little letters to overcome Olympus' tightness... Pro, erm well thats one three letter word, the other is JJC - they do very good little hoods at a very decent price.

Damn you Olympus with your 10% off lenses weekend. Be mad not to get the 25mm for £239 delivered from LCE.

But why oh why is a nifty fifty so expensive for m4/3 compared to other formats?

Anyway at least now i have my favoured focal length on my new system.☺

All except the one I want. Typical.

I've been stung by the early adopters tax once too often (I paid £1100 for a D7000 ) so I'm loathed to stitch myself up again. But the 40-150 f/2.8 is soooo tempting.......

Which you after?

The 40-150 2.8 is in the offer, if it weren't just too big for how I see\use m43 I'd take a long look at it (link)

Damn, I lost the spare battery recommendation for the E-M1 - could someone point me in the right direction and final verdict?

Top man. I'd looked on Wex, Park and Jessops and none of them were offering the discount.

I know what you mean, it's a big old unit by m43 standards. I sold my Nikon 70-200 to fund the Oly. The Nikon never got used because it's weight combined with all the other FF stuff was too much.

I reckon my existing m43 kit plus the 40-150 should be pretty manageable in comparison.........hopefully.

Please send my apologies to whoever is cursing me for helping you spend such a huge wad of cash :)

Does look a very nice lens though.
