Nope. Meeting my bro in law there at half 5. I'm doing it out of kindness as he wants to watch football.
Soda and Lime then, is it??

Good to see I was wrong about wifiI wouldn't buy from them, the kit is £1600 iirc which is silly.
Damian, how's yours going? In the pub yet?![]()

Well couldn't resist and just picked up the 19mm and 30mm f2.8 art sigma lenses for my new Em5.
£248 for both delivered seems a very fair price indeed.
I have been amazed by the 5 axis IS when just doing some test shots in the house.
I did a 2 second hand held at 150mm and the image was sharp enough to use. I took the same shot with the IS off and off course it just looked like a wall of blur.
Looking forward to testing the IS in video tomorrow.
Lol, yeah i did.
Thanks.
I read further up that you have the 60mm macro, any shots from it? Thinking of picking one up later on in the month.

I just meant to try it in your hand and get an idea, even with it in the sale (which it is) its still more expensive than Amazon. One thing I have noticed though is that they don't come up for sale often - which probably says a lot.
Gripped E-EM1 compared to a non gripped E-M5 by alf.branch, on Flickr
2015-01-01 17.13.40 by alf.branch, on FlickrVery impressed with the fly in flight, did you use af, or wait until if came into shot?
Wow Huw, thanks for sharing. Excellent shots indeed. It's definately on my hit list now!
Just wondering, would I be better buying another lens now though as macro season (well, the kind I would be interested in at least) doesn't really start for a few months. Does it?
So... 9-18mm perhaps?would probably sell the kit lens if I got the 9-18 aswell.

I very much tip my hat to you, I'm somehow more impresed you got it with AF, I never managed that with the Canon.
I didn't know samyang did a UW for mft, great news, I have the full frame 14mm and it's a great lens.
Alfbranch, thanks for the comparison, I know it's complete with the battery grip but it looks huge compared, I really could do with figuring how much of a jump in size and weight compared with the E-M10 with grip. I think I'll still try one if I can find someone who wants to part ex with my 5D3, but I think most people seem to be moving to mirrorless.
Thanks for your help. Much appreciated.
Ahhhhh.... GAS!!!!!!
Would definately agree there. My mate has the E-M10 and The E-M1 the bodies are more or less the same size, but the grip on the E-M1 is just so nice. I have Nikon D200 and D300 and the the E-M1 feels to me like a miniture D300 nice and solid as well.John, just regarding the size of the bodies, take the vertical grip off and exchange the 12-40 for the 12-50 and the size difference is not all that great.
The horizontal grip is then really the difference, quite a bit more substantial with the E-M1 (I have both bodies too).
Cheers, I might take a look at the measurements and see what it's like compared to the 60D.
I've the 12-40 so I know it's big (for mft), but I hear it's even better balanced on the E-M1, would you say it's better with or without the grip?
in preparing to sell on my Nikon, I took a comparison photo of the OMD-EM5 and D90 to show the size difference with grips on each body.
Hmmmmm........if i get the 60 then i have the set.....lolGents - a Sigma 60 DN in classifieds![]()

It will be interesting to see some shots Ned with the PL to compare with my Oly, especially wide open. I read that Panasonic bodies correct CA but Oly's don't. No big problem though with Lr, either the eye dropper tool or a defringing brush works just fine for me.
Be interesting to hear your thoughts on IQ vs your D610. Especially if you use it with a 50 f1.8. This a route I've been considering also.
Lee, yes, I've been looking into different processing methods and will look at JPEG's.
