Lovely image Julian. I was born and bred by the sea, so it's a very evocative image for me with all those boats, especially living as I do now as far away from the sea as you can get so I've been told!!
Thank you for sharing

Thanks Marcia. It's funny I lived my youth growing up as far from the sea as you could get, now it's a 4 minute walk from my door :)

I am so envious!! I miss it more and more the older I get. Our dream is to move back to Wales one day.
Please keep those images coming Julian! :)

If anybody is in Bedford for the Victorian Fair, look into CEX they have/had a Oly. 40-150 lens for £55.00 (that is how I read it)

Sounds like a very tempting bargain, but I really don't need it, so I will be avoiding going into Bedford!! I am easily swayed, but somehow bank managers don't seem to be!! :D

This should probably go in another topic/thread, but I thought it worth sharing with the OM-D community :D

Gone very quiet in here since rookies left hasn't it?
So I will pop in a couple shots of the CMA CGM Marco Polo to keep things ticking over. It is the worlds largest container ship at 396m long.

Those are nice Glenn, give us a hint where they were taken? Mostly not UK, I'd guess...

Here's a couple from me, both with the E-M5 and Panny 100-300, bit parky today to say the least and these little fellas are out in it all the time.
It's a tough life :)

Wow, Julian, nice pic and nice PP!!

Where was this taken?

It was on a beach near Instow, North Devon. Can see on the location map on my flickr page

Out in Glasgow to photograph Christmas lights and camera with Panny 7-14 hit the deck and bounced 3 times. Lens hood scarred, hot shoe scratched and EVF is broken :( it looks like a Top of the Pops 1970s special effects image).

Great Robin shots Huw I prefer No 2 :)

Thanks Kimo :)

Oh bummmm ...........

Hope you're insured for them (fingers crossed).

It's now £52.00, and still there ;)
That's a stonking price for what I believe to be a very underrated lens.

I used to say that this lens was quite sharp from 60-110mm, but I took these two last week whilst waiting for an elusive Jay in my garden. I wouldn't normally use the zoom for the squirrels as they come up very close, so usually capture them with the 20mm or 45mm. They don't keep still much, though!!

I think these are pretty sharp at 40mm on the zoom lens.
