Thanks Alby, it was great subject matter.

I received the Canon FD 200mm 2.8 lens yesterday, god it's heavy, I've been spoiled by ultra light weight m43 lenses, it's like going back to the bad old DSLR days :)

We could have been bidding against each other  so not all bad. Get a 2x converter and pop it on the 200 and it will be as good I reckon, go for a 7 element 2x version and you will be impressed ;)

Super set Alan, I've been across that bridge a few times and thought I should stop off and photograph it but never have.

thanks alby

i'm in london again tomorrow so might wander the other way up the river in my lunch break.

I'm in London tomorrow, really need to take my camera for a quick session at lunch, but no time tomorrow :(

Here's another 7 exposure handheld, HDR processed image, more realistic processing this time.

Thanks Andy - am really enjoying the OM-D - haven't touched the GX1 for a while though

I sent my gx1 back as didn't like it as much the second time think I've been spoilt though with the omd. I use an epl3 as a second body but that doesn't get used that much as the rx100 is so good, bloody cameras!!!!

Nice set of shots Alan i think i prefer the 1st one out of the bunch it reminds me of a old PC game Half life 2 ..nothing too do with my preference that btw

Like that Julian and again love the processing not tried HDR yet would probably need some software as only got pse10 and only just learned about raw!!

Andy

Superb - love the symmetry and the lead-in line of the chains

Thanks Alan, took so many slight variations in composition :)

Thanks Andy, HDR is obviously not everyone's taste, but I do love it, don't do it as much as I used too though.

thanks - the river level with the swamp boat thing? loved playing that on my pc years ago - and again on the xbox 'orange box' a few years back - still a classic game

Thats the one

I've no idea what you are talking about, but I like the images, Alan.

I really like those three Alan, especially the first. It has an almost painting like quality about it.

Lovely image Julian. I was born and bred by the sea, so it's a very evocative image for me with all those boats, especially living as I do now as far away from the sea as you can get so I've been told!!
Thank you for sharing
