That is bloody Awesome I love those sort of photos. I have not figured how to get the Rapid fire 7 Shot bracket yet as the 7D was quite simple to set up
Now that's an HDR image of which I can approve
Greytop said:Thanks Rob, I too prefer the more subtle approach to HDR output. I generally use the exposure fusion option rather than tone mapping with Photomatrix.
One from a couple of weekends ago, taken at dusk, a rapid fire 7 shot 0.7Ev bracket merged with Photomatrix.
E-M5 and 14-54 MK2
Yes, very nice indeed. Did you order the sheep to stand still for a second while you took your burst shots? I've often wondered how easy it is to merge files like these in practice... y'know, when things might have moved a bit between shots?
Thanks GlennGreat shot Greytop, love the subtle HDR.![]()
Thanks Alan, much appreciatedLovely shot, very subtle HDR too![]()
I love HDR and that is a great subtle use of it there Huw, great work!
Now that is how to do HDR lovely capture.
Andy
Lovely warm tone to that shot Huw. HDR not overly strong which is how it should be I think.
Cheers for the info i often thought about doing HDR but never looked into how too do it with the OMD ..Nice HDR not too overdoneThanks Andrew, it's dead easy with the OM-D too, just select menu, 'camera outline 2' icon, then select AE bracket and whatever your poison is
Then exit the menu go into Super control panel and select hi sequential shooting (9fps).

Took the bait a little while ago when someone (Alby) let me handle his. I've found it slow to get use to but now starting to get some results. I've read all the comments posted so far and found them a great help.![]()

There's bit of a clunky way in LR using the Print moduleHere one I just snapped out of the window with the 40-150 lens.
Does anyone know if we can add white or what ever boarders to images in Lightroom? or I need to get CS6
You're not selling up then? LOLYes your right it a slow start but a fantastic kit

Or you can install LR2/Mogrify, and then add all sorts or Inner & Outer borders when you export. It's a bit involved installing the plugin, it needs ImageMagick, but worth it, this is what I use. If you don't buy the licence you can't use it on batch exports, but I work on one image at a time anyway.
Try these instructions :-

Yes, one is a Print to JPEG option, and the other is Export. Thanks I guess these only work as export? Was kind hoping do it so I can view and leave images where they are.

If you don't mind roundish corners to your borders you CAN do this in place in LR using Effects>Post Crop Vignetting, by manipulating the Amount to +100, Midpoint 0, Roundness -100, Feather 0, as a starting point.
But I still like the Mogrify Option, and it's good for sharpening on Export too.
Need? I guess you can if you want, but why would you want to?When we export the jpeg with a boarder would we need import it back into Lightroom?

I'm not sure where aperture comes into this?If plug in exporting with boarder I like see them within aperture

When you export your other edits from LR, do you import those exports back into LR?
Anyway, if you really want to do this, as long as you export your JPEGs to the RAW file's original folder, the best way is to right-click on that folder in the Library module and choose "Synchronise" - this will look in that folder for photos that have been "manually" put in there, and sync up the Library.

Superb free program from;

How would this work with Lightroom. Think fast stone not mac compatible? Will have a look when on iMac. As on iPhone at moment
Ah no, windows only. Would it run under the Windows emulator? Don't know much about MACs though I've just bought quite a nice waxed cotton Dryzabone one.![]()
