Olympus OM-D E-M5, E-M1, E-M10 - Mk1, Mk2 & Mk3 Owners Thread

Thanks Thunderbird, that's very helpful and actually the light weight of it really appeals to me - I don't want to feel like I'm lugging kit around. I've been reading good reviews on it too. Those bluetits look nice and sharp.

And what a deal that is on Amazon! For some reason the silver lenses are cheaper, and I think they look good, the bling factor appeals to me!

I like it - must have been high ISO too.

Exif data:
Camera Olympus E-M5
Exposure 0.01 sec (1/100)
Aperture f/1.8
Focal 45 mm
ISO 4000

I have both the Oly 40-150 and the Pana 45-200
and I have found I'm carrying the Oly more because it is a lot lighter
and smaller.

The next lens I'm lusting after is the Panasonic Leica 45mm,
I will part with one of the zooms to help fund it, but I just can't decide which to keep between the two ????

Some reason the EXIF on flickr not working today

It looks like they have moved it.

It is now on the right hand side, halfway down the page, underneath the tags
called additional info
Click on the ISO etc,, and it takes you in to the full exif

Took me a little while to find it..

Hugs to Thunderbird for finding me that wonderful deal! I've ordered it! LOVE the idea of having it in silver.

No problem Lindsay enjoy. What colour omd have you ordered I've got the black one and my 40-150 is silver but it doesn't look out of place.

Rookies that dog shot is great I had the oly 45 and sold it then bought it again its my least used lens I need to practice more with it and get used to it but the panny 25 stays on my omd most of the time.

This is my favourite with it so far but I had to entice him with my nuts !!!!

If it was me, it has to be the new 60mm,
I've seen some stunning images from it

The Panny 25mm Is meant to be a great lens I am torn between the Panny 20mm and the Panny 25mm to be honest

Cracking images again BTW

Yes I like the oly 75, I too have the oly 45 and it is a stonkingly good lens also but build quality between the two is miles apart. The 75 is made out of aluminium and just oozes quality, the best built lens I own in the mft format. Another must I think is the Samsung 7.5 fisheye. Check it out, it is great and I think every one with a MFT camera should own it. Excellent shot BTW and mono looks great. ;)

Thunderbird, your shots are just wonderful (you too Alby). I've ordered the OMD in silver so the silver lens should look fab. I've just realised that I will need to purchase lens hoods.

Loving those terrier shots!

I'm now hankering after the 12-35 f2.8. What a price though. I've just been through my camera bag and have found a couple of nice pieces of kit which I'll be selling to fund the OMD/lenses, so I might be able to stretch to it. I hope it does macro and I hope it isn't too much bigger/heavier than the kit zoom.

Samsung 7.5 Fisheye or Samyang?

Ive the Black OMD To be honest I like them both but I went for the black and it does look awesome with a silver lens on it

Where best place for the Fisheye lens Alby and you a picture you like to share so I can see the results :)

Is it really good? Is it nice work with? I've always wanted try one for ages but felt wont use it enough

I find when I get a bit bored with photography I pop it on and it is great fun again. It has a massive fun factor to it when shooting faces especially. :D

Great shots mate, I mentioned the 75mm focal length is not a length I'd use that much, but then see shots like this. Many reviews are quoting it as one of the sharpest lenses of any format

It appear to be a sharp good lens but 150mm with crop factor hmmmm not too sure but it could be good for portraits without being in people face????

Wow busy in here again

Some amazing shots here in the last 2 pages - I especially like the 2 of your dog rookies. Nowt better than a free lens :)

I have the 7.5 Samyang fishy too - very sharp and manual focusing is very easy. Got mine from uk digital.
