In order to qualify for the free lens offer, one must purchase from Olympus Elite Centres - any ideas which retailers are these?

Wex? Amazon?

Wouldn't want to have an invalid claim for the freebie cos it was bought from the wrong retailer :nono:

Those that got the free grip - where did you purchase from please?

I got my OMD with free grip offer from Amazon

Thanks Julian - it may be too early in the day but usually the amazon, wex etc product page has details of the free item or cash back offer - neither of these sites are listing details of the free lens at the moment.

Will check back after 9 i spose

Response from Olympus UK.....

Dear Alan,

Thank you for contacting Olympus,

Please be advised that the purchase must be from a UK or Ireland (excluding the Channel Islands) based retailer that has bought stock through Olympus UK or one of their authorised distributors. Eligible resellers are considered all vendors that originate and operate on the territory of UK or Ireland, excl. The Channel Islands as long as they are VAT registered and provide VAT proof of purchase to their customers.
Please also note that duty free vendors are not participating in this promotion.

Best Wishes,
Yana Vateva

Just ordered from Wex

But how do we claim it?

After selling my EM-5 a while back the purchaser tells me I didn't send the USB cable. I would be grateful if someone could have a look and tell if there any markings on the lead to identify the cable.

OM-D arrived this afternoon

Battery charged
Firmware Updated
Lens offer applied for

Now its dark :(

Be interested to hear how you compare it to the gx1 :) did you buy the kit or just body?

wasnt too fussed about the lens so i bought mine with the 12-50 macro power zoom lens from hdew

excellent service with 3 year uk based warranty £860 :)

You will need a m4/3 to OM adapter, then it will fit.

I have bought the lens but not the adaptor, there are loads on Ebay are they all the same? some seem longer then others

I'm also after a OM to Micro 4/3 adapter. Seen a lot on eBay and are unsure which one to go for. Anyone got any recommendations?

Nice one thanks for that. I'll do the same. Picked up a OM 35MM 2.8 and 50MM 1.8 for peanuts. Wanted to test them out over the weekend.

Anyone going down to SRS on the 27th for Olympus Open Day? I'm going to go down and have a look at the new 75mm and the limited edition 12mm.

I got this one and it seems OK, well built, and quick delivery.

I made an offer of £9.50, which he accepted :-)

I'm using it with a F.Zuiko 50mm 1.8 and an Ozeck 75-250MM F4.5 ZOOM on an Oly E-PL3
Thanks you should be on commision
