Does anyone know if you can connect an Olympus Pen micro 4/3 camera to a telescope via an adapter of sorts? What is needed and is the camera up to the job? It's a Epm1, 12mp.

if you find something that works let me know

Found this reference to digiscoping with an EM5

MFT is MFT so should work with all the Olympus MFT range???
thats great BB if you happen to use kowa scopes but it won't work on the less expensive normal ones ,i.e I have a superb little celestron scope 15 to 45 times mag with non removable eyepiece ,this would make a lovely long range lens/camera/scope if I could figure a cheap easy way to mount the camera to it .espicially in the winter up here on the dee estuary as sometimes the birds are a long way out

Loads on the bay from china around £10, to fit telescopes or spotting scopes or microscopes

Nope just looked up the t2 mount and don’t think that will work as there no way to attach it to the eyepiece as far as I can see, any links would help

Looking at the T2 adaptor supplier above they make mention of various adaptors to fit 'various' telescopes........................I wonder if they might be the best folk to ask, you never know if there is enough demand they might create a suitable attachment 'convertor'???

just phoned optical hardware .co.uk they make a range of adaptors but he said the best bet is to take it to a camera shop that sells scopes to see what they suggest .theres one along the coast next time I'm that way I'll pop in

Many thanks guys. I'm actually selling the camera but the potential buyer wants to use it on his telescope so i've just been trying to help him get sorted. I think he's happy now and found the fittings needed. any thanks for all your help.
