So much negativity in this thread, was bouncing to the music and living it although wish the athletes would hurry up lol...

Gotta feel sorry for any athletes competing tomorrow and the only thing i can't stand is that French is being spoken before English at London 2012.

when my daughter said 'it doesn't finish till 12.30'... i thought, oh jeeez... have i got sit through this for 4 hours after i had lectured both kids about how important it was to watch history in the making :bonk:

and now look at the time... it's flown by.. very enjoyable indeed.. it's also tested my geography to the max as i get asked 'where's that' every time a country enters the arena :lol:

Agree. Bloody disgrace - It is being held in England!!!

Coverage at the start looked naff - what is all that farming stuff about??? However, got much better as it went on and showed what a great show we can do and how great this country is. Rowan Atkinson was very funny.

Of of my colleagues is doing the drumming - I've given up trying to spot him on the telly though. Be interesting to find out what is was like being in the middle of it - pretty amazing I imagine.

I was a bit sceptical as I'm no real Danny Boyle fan, but I think it's been an excellent showpiece.

Some people need to get a grip... They really are miserable British buggers some people are!
 
Well peeps! I think so far it has gone really well....but then again i am bias as i am in the Communications ops room.......with loads of computer screen and tvs......
