I've just got some old lencarta strobe lights and they work fine but I have no idea what model they are. They have 'Lencarta' written in blue on them but nothing else.

The soft box that came with them has a strange fitting with 4 bolt like fixings.

I've going to use them in my High-lite so not to concerned about getting new soft boxes but not sure where to find out more information about them.

Question is does anyone 'model' of light these are and what this type of fixing is called?

Thanks

PF200, sold in 2 and 3 head kits on Ebay only, some years ago. Pretty good in their day, and still serviced by Lencarta.

The fitting is commonly known as 'Universal'. Many of the fleabay specials still use it. Basically the accessory just fits over the front and is kept in place by the screws. This fitting only has a very limited range of accessories available for it, it can't take anything really big and heavy and the non-removable reflector is a bit of a restriction, but they work well enough.

Thanks for the infomation Garry!

They were cheap so wasn't expecting too much but should suffice until I can afford better.
