Older lens: Nikon's 80-200mm f/4.5n AI - what camera is good for this?

Yes
Thinking of getting the incredibly inexpensive Nikon Zoom-NIKKOR 80-200mm f/4.5n AI, which sells for only around 110.00 used. I'm wondering if getting the D60 will present me with any problems with it or should I pony up and go for the D90 and have AF? I'd really like to stick with the D60 and get better (ie full modern Nikon zoom lens with VR) down the road though. For now, I can live with a few inconveniences with an older zoom and at least have the modern 18-55 VR kit lens.

Any suggestions/advice?

Not a lens I know anything about, but not sure this is a good deal?

My gut feeling is that it isn't (for £110).

I think I'd rather have a new 55-200 VR , with AF, for not much more if it's for use on a D60

LOl - I know, but the older Nikon lens does look pretty good. I mean, 100 bucks for a discontinued lens does sound good. Doesn't have VR though.
