Chances are, this bit of information will be of no use to anyone, but just in case.

If you've got older type Elinchrom strobes (Classic 500 etc) with the Elinchrom Amphenol sync terminal, (That's the screw in type) and you want to use PW to fire it, you would need to buy a cable from PW called MA1, costing £69 All 5" of it
But The Flash Centre do their own version of it for £16.99. Just tried it and it works a charm :)

Now I can fire a shed load of power from over a 1/4 mile away

Those sync cables are a pain in the posterior. Why elinchrom ever went with them I don't know.

If using an rf602, I have to use a receiver, a hot shoe to pc adapter on the top of it, then a 15 foot length of elinchrom adapter lead wound together before it attaches to the flash.

As I said, right pain. Doesn't seem to effect the sync speed mind. Just looks a bit silly.

Now, if Yongnuo did a direct cable.....

I see them come up on ebay quite often. I have been meaning to buy some and experiment with shortening the cable, so it doesn't look so silly. Is this easy thing to do?
