Hello gang

An old 35mm film shooter taking his first steps into DSLR as point and shoot just aint doing it for me anymore and don't get me started on so called phone cameras.

Looking for a good second hand starter DSLR for £100-£150?

I am told I can use my old Prakticar BC1 Lens's on a "Body" of a DSLR is this true? my lenses have the 3 lug bayonet fixing with three spring dots in the ring?

Sorry I can't expalin it better but as I say I'm no expert:bonk:

Thanks in advance for any help

Welcome to TP!

I'm not sure if there are any bodies your lens would fit directly on, but you may well be able to get a converter from the Pratika fitting to a Canon or Nikon. If you dont get a response on here then do a google to find out.
It would only give you manual focusing though.

Thanks for the welcome guys looks like I've landed in the right place or is that another planet?..lol

Looks like I am going for a Sony A200 with a mahusive discount from work good times.

Welcome to TP

Hi :welcome: I am an old Practica M42 man, and I managed to get an M42 to Nikon converter from crookedimaging.co.uk (01474 824632). Might be worth giving Simon Crook a call.

Scratch that got a great deal on a Canon D60 circa 2002 so I am now part of the DSLR club
