I'm a recent owner of a Nikon D7000 (Love it) but I have just dug out my 1979'ish Tamron 70-150 adaptall2 telephoto lens. Does it have any use on my Nikon and if so what is required to make it fit.
Back in the day, it was fitted to my Fuji STX1 35mm film camera via an adaptall 2 connecting mount.

i would of thought an adaptail mount for a Nikon DSLR should allow it to be used, not sure if you'll get any information through the cpu though, so prob all manual aperture and focus.

Thank you for that, I was unsure if mounts were still available! It has just sat in it's barrel box forever and wondered if it had any use.

The old Adaptall-2 lenses all seem pretty sharp, and many of the zooms have a handy macro feature :)

Looking at the ebay offer (link above) it might be worth the cost for a trial, just out of curiosity.
