Someone I know just brought this round for me to have a look at and ask if it was any good. Tempted to swap it for my D300. ;)

Technical Details

* 1.3 megapixel sensor captures enough detail for photo-quality 5 x 7 prints
* 8x optical plus 2x digital zoom lens with autofocus
* 3.5" floppy disk holds five images at maximum resolution; optional adapter stores images on Memory Stick
* Images can be read by any PC or Mac with a 3.5 inch floppy drive

The camera also features an MPEG movie mode, audio annotation for your images, and a manual focus ring.

At maximum image quality, five images fit on one floppy. At the other end of the spectrum is the e-mail setting, which captures 80 images at 320 x 240 resolution on a single disk
 
Hahah! I love the way sony owners never take off the sales literature. I've got a 10 year old hi-8 camcorder at home with all the stamina labels still on!

We used to have one of those at a car dealership I worked at - used for taking pictures of warranty claims.

It used to get borrowed all the time for weekends and the like. What a marvel it was!!!
 
Awesome, my dad used to have one of these, thought it was a technological marvel back in 1998 or whenever...

How many photos can you get on a floppy disk - and can you still get the disks for it?? :D
