I have a couple of shots from some old or odd lenses.

1st a couple taken with an un-named Petzval on a speed graphic.

And then one with a projection lens

Let me know what you think.

Really like these, they have an almost tilt-shift effect.

Thanks Andy.

Thanks Steve,
the effect is caused by the lens only being sharp in the middle, its focal plane is bent giving soft edges. I'm going to try some portraits with it and see what I get.

Liking these a lot Mart, quirky and unique, I really must dig out some old enlarger lenses.

I think you may be onto something here, you should get some really interesting portraits out of the Petzval.

I like very much the simplicity of #1, with it's weathered whitewash and that wonderful art-deco design, it could have been taken anytime anywhere, I think it is just a stunning photograph.

Thanks Guys. I'm realy please with the results.
The vingetting on the top corners is my mistake having the front standard raised a little and the Petzval just covers 5x4.
I will see if I can do some portraits this weekend and see what comes of them.

Cheers,
Mart
