Old Minolta (MD Rokkor) lenses

Does anyone know, if the old Minolta lenses, more specifically, the MD Rokkor ones are any good? The reason I ask, is because although they will not fit directly on my DSLR, there are some modifications I could make, and I also have a couple of old Minolta 35mm bodies.

Yep they were certainly good in there day.

And still are if you fancy using old Minolta film bodies ;)
