Old lenses

One thing to think about is how easy they're going to be to focus. I briefly used manual lenses on my Canon 5D but decided it wasn't worth the hassle. Modern DSLR's don't really lend themselves to manual focusing as you don't get the aids you got in old manual focus SLRs. Mirrorless cameras are in my opinion the things to use manual lenses on.
