OK guys I've come across some more old exposed film .....some of which i'm unsure of the dev times.

Any help appreciated as always.

Here's a list, there may be others soon:

Ilford HP5 ASA 400

35mm format

Note that this is NOT HP5+ which many of us shoot, it is an older version!

Perhaps the dev time is the same though??

***********************************************************

TriFCA

127 format

Marked: 173/UK/61 on the backing paper.

I think this may be C22 process??

*********************************************************

Kodak Panatomic-X film

120 format

*********************************************************

Super Lumichrome (French, produced by Film Lumiere)

49 format ?? Not exactly sure tbh ..the box states a number 49 and that it offers 8 negatives 6x9cm.

The actual spool/film size is almost identical to 620 format.

Thanks for the links guys

Worked my way through the films....Not a lot in the way of results really.

There may be a few more to post as haven't finished scanning but here's a few that some of you may know the location.

1 and 2 are from a 120 verichrome film. Maybe the style of the buildings give a clue to where it is?

3 and 4 are both from a 620 verichrome pan film and look to me to be from a UK castle??

erm no photography allowed inside yet you pay to go in :)

thought it was in Norfolk...lol.....oh well, its not in Yorkshire therefore its subject to my inaccurate information disclaimer...

Thanks John, I can understand from the first paragraph in the link how you mistakenly thought it was located in Norfolk.
Bet you can't locate the first two photos as easily though can you?? :D :D

Arundel Castle is in Arundel, West Sussex.

Geography never was my best subject so confirmation of the castles location is handy to have ...just in case i decide to visit! :D :D

You need to get planting rhubarb further afield to expand the triangle into Norfolk ...oops sorry Sussex :D :D

 You know me too well. ;)

No idea where 1 is but I wanna go there! looks impressive. Architecture is unusual, bits look a bit Scottish but the tall warehouse style building on the left looks more Spanish maybe? Really no idea.

Scotland crossed my mind too with the hills but the buildings blew that idea.

There appears to be shutters on some of the windows which could indicate any european hot country ....Corsica is somewhere i considered not that i've been there but from what i understand, mountains pull up sharply from the shore with towns and villages being on the coastline....saying that, the same applies just down the road from where i live so could be just about anywhere.

If I had to take a guess on the first two I'd suggest southern France, maybe Villefranche or somewhere like that before the developers moved in.

Or Spain - somewhere like Torremolinos

First two remind me of the Croatian coast. Very similar to the landscape and architecture seen from the ferry from Dubrovnik through the islands towards Split.

The first one looks like a painting my father did of Capri...
