I recently bought a camera bag and inside there were a half dozen rolls of old film, two of which were Illford PANF PLUS 50.

They are dated May 2010 and I have to assume that they have not been stored correctly as they were in a side pocket.

Seeing as the weather is forecast to be very sunny this weekend and that they are my lowest ISO film I am considering using them up.

Any advice on shooting speed and development considerations would be much appreciated.

Developer options are

Bellini HC
ADOX HC110
Fomadon R09 (original Rodinal recipe)
Fotospeed FD10

EDIT : Size 120

The rough rule of thumb for expired film (where I don't know if it's been cold stored) which I use is as follows:

B&W - overexpose by one stop per two decades of expiry. e.g. 2005 expired Tri-X (400asa) would be exposed at 200asa.

Colour negative - overexpose by one stop per one decade of expiry. e.g. 2005 expired kodak Gold (200asa) would be exposed at 50asa.

Reversal film - Shoot at box speed.

Pan-F seems to be a somewhat different emulsion; they certainly warn about developing as soon after exposure as possible. I'd definitely be inclined to give it at least a stop, maybe a bit more. Just noticed that you posted last week, so hope you had fun. I was using my HR-50 over the weekend (at box) so I'm looking forward to seeing that!

Hi Chris,

I shot the last couple this morning so I will develop tomorrow.

Calculated at ISO 32

The Mamiya RB 67 lens shutter has half stops which is very very handy.
