I am aware of voltage issues with old flashes and new equipment, but honestly I know nothing about old flashes and old equipment....
First question: I have an old film cam with no hotshoe but a PC sync. Can I use a small cable to link this to my canon compatible RF 602 transmitter with no ill effect, then triggering my canon flash on the other end?
Second question: I have a small sunpak auto 140 and a pentax af 160 (not the ringflash - fits a pentax mv). I know I can't mount these on a new camera without frying everything, but what about through my RF 602s? Still a no-no, through both hotshoe and cables? What if I hooked it up directly to the PC sync on the old cam (a rolleiflex)?
