Hi, I have this very old, I think German camera which I believe is missing the back plate and is a bit worse for wear in general. Would anyone know it’s worth please, or how best to market the camera? Apologies, I am not to educated with regards to the camera. I ca provide more photos upon request. Many thanks.

At the very least it might help if you added a note of any names and/or other markings on the lens, shutter & body areas?

Unsure where I put it but I bought an antique/vintage cameras guide book.

I have a small collection that has been in store for some years.

PS the what looks like silver steel turned components with the brass lens does make me think this is a bespoke made unit.....or one that's had some 'updating' over the many decades???

Yes, any markings on the steel plate above the lens in particular, and also what size is the back of it (the widest part of the bellows)? It looks slightly like a couple of cameras that I'm aware of (one that I have in fact).

Thank you for the replies. Some details include:
G.Rudenberg Jun. Hannover. - I HAVE THIS DETIAL WRITTEN DOWN FOR SOME REASON, BUT CANNOT FIND IT ON THE CAMERA.
Unicum - SITUATED ON THE STEEL PLATE / ABOVE THE LENS
Anastigmat F.8.A H.C.H - AROUND THE BRASS RING - LENS
Rietzschel G.M.B.H Munchen - AS ABOVE.
Bausch & Lomb Opt. Co. Pat. Jan 6 , ‘ 9. - ON THE BRASS BETWEEN TOP OF LENS AND STEEL PLATE.
Also there is the number 22233 stamped into the inner side of the top of the box in which the camera folds back into,
The back opening is 115 x 85mm.
I can’t see any other detail . Thank you.

Apologies , the first piece of detail listed above is stamped on the camera housing carry handle .

Right, though not the Heli Clack, I found this

And this that might help ID your exact model?

Quickly looking at the available pictures on the above listings and not seeing the same apparent lens plate and adjustment 'screws' does to me (as mentioned) suggest some modifications have been done over the years???

This one shows the bright silver Steel controls

Could your item be a bit of a mongrel, made up of different 'contributing' components
