Old Camera To Play With

My g/f went round to her parents yesterday and was taking about cameras. Now I knew he has a Leica SL but did not know he had a Lecia M1 but he still sometimes uses them.

However he did let me borrow the following:

A Contax IIIa and the meter is still functional and nearly matches a couple of other meters I have.



A turret finder which has view finder for 21-135mm lens



And a complete surprise and looking forward to trying it out



21mm f4.5 Biogon lens with a Contax very dark red filter as well.

these are really nice and the lenses are pretty good. Focusing is nice and accurate with the long baselenght as well

For more lenses search contax/kiev on ebay and you'll find loads

These were arguably better than the leicas of the time so enjoy it
