old 35mm film

Hi to all i was shooting a wedding and my camera showed up an error
so i reverted to my trusty manual 35mm
the film i had in my bag was out of date
is there any thing i should say to the developers
before they transfer it to cd
i do remember using this film before and it gave a green/blue cast

Old film can behave in strange ways. You can get whats called a crossed curve which means the processor can't correct the colours properly, although with a digital conversion you should (note the word should) be able to fix the worst of it yourself in something like photoshop.
The real problem is theres old film and OLD film, depending on how old it is and how it's been stored it could be anything from pretty good to OMG! If it's just a bit out of date and been kept cool it should be ok.
