A bit noisy but it's a fair crop and taken this morning through a double glazed window.

Not that far away,

Old Rome Dr, Fife KY8 5, United Kingdom ...........find it on Google Maps

It's a super view up there and that was taken with the 135mm as it was the only prime I had with me at the time. I should have taken a shot with my 18-35mm. :bang:

Love that view Jim :)

Is that last one a dunnock or wren?

It's a wren and food must be getting hard to find for them as that was taken from inside the house. Usually I can hardly see them as they scoot about at the bottom of the hedgerows.

Thanks everyone for the comments.

This was taken at 08.00am this morning just before sunrise, straight from the camera, no PP, just a crop.

Amazing colours.

Very nice matey, love that you can still see the greens

amazing colours......

Been neglecting this thread, looked out the kitchen window and spotted three Bullfinches eating the seeds from the nettles again. There's a fair difference in the colour of the breast feathers on the males.

wow.. brilliantly timed Jim. Those wings must have been flapping at a furious pace!

Love the sunrise shot, Jim. You live a long way from me but I was taking a sunrise shot at exactly the same time as you. The sky here looked very similar.

You are lucky with the bullfinches. I have only seen them around here a couple of times and have managed no decent shots.

I'd like to say a big thanks for all the nice comments this last month and to congratulate everyone else on what sounded an easy task but proved quite demanding.

great set to finish on Jim.. you did yourself proud

some cracking wildlife shots here....

I never do the smaller birds, not enough length in my kit bag (just to share the terrible innuendo in everybody else's Oktoberfest threads)
