Just finished watching "The Grid". Guest was Jeremy Cowart, who was premiering a new photography sharing app - OKDOTHIS

I think this is really going to take off. Launching, next week on iOS, check out the website -

Seems a good idea John I can see this catching on.

If managed correctly, I think this could be a real competitor to the likes of Instagram, etc.

Looks horrible/pointless to me. (I bet they're going to have fun with their T&Cs as well - Company X says shoot their ad campaign for them, etc ;) ).

My money's on the first 1000 'briefs/ideas' being something along the line of "take a photo of your boobs".
A lot will depend on how this is managed. I know Jeremy Cowart has been working on this for 3.5 years and given his track record, I've every confidence that this will be a winner.

Will certainly be some juvenille suggestions, but this could be an excellent platform for creativity and ideas.

Time will tell.............

The problem is there are so many ways technology-wise to share your photos socially nowadays that any new app has to have something superunique for it to have any worth. I'm feeling pretty saturated already - FB, twitter, G+, Flickr, forums, website.... argh

I think the thing, that will set this app apart from others, is that it will not only be a photo sharing app, but also a means of drawing on others creativity and ideas.

I think it's a pretty good idea personally. Expect the founder to be turning down a 3 billion dollar IPO in a year, and crying himself to sleep in his parent's attic in 3 ;)

App now available, to iOS users, on the app store. Unfortunately, iOS 7 required :(
