honestly - I've been here for two years without joining the 'elite' with special user titles , then I have three different ones in less than a month :thinking:

I know I'm a hero to all you green folk (its a dirty job but someone has to do it) - and indeed you may be green with envy at my sheer magnificence (:suspect:) but really, its okay ... you don't have to keep giving me special attention, people will talk :lol:

I suspect it's to do with the post on dorset dude's power tool thread where I claimed all the female mods (and indeed members) were stalking me because i'm so ruggedly handsome whilst also suavely debonair (not to mention modest and self effacing)

Its not my fault they can't admit or deal with their true feelings (:lol: :exit:)

I can't think of anything else I've posted in the last couple of days that's worthy of such comment

Is it only the Elite that get names then? Bit cliquey to say that. I was under the impression that it was no one is safe. I wonder if the band camp thing is that the girl was always saying this one time in band camp and had a story for everything

you are right of course - no one is safe , the great mod knows all and sees all.

what I meant was that you become one of the 'elite chosen ones' when you get a title (ask matt he's had about 6)

you could be right about the story thing - that was my first thought too (I can't help it if I haven't led a mundane and boring life) - but I can't think of anything in particular I posted yesterday that would have sparked that comment (except for what I mentioned above)

Ok. I sort of see what you're saying. I've done a lot of observing over the 6 or so months I've been on here. It's almost like working behind a bar, you see everything that's going on in the different little circles/groups. Just seemed to me that it wasn't always an elite thing, just meant that you'd put your head above the parapet one too many times. Hope the mods don't think I am though. I like my new here tag

funny thing is my head pretty much lives above the parapet - but I've only become speshul (actually i'd have said I was Orsum :lol: ) in the last month or so.

To be fair matt does get a lot of 'abuse'- but maybe not that sort

( I reckon its because they are ... erm .. grooming him (no not like that) to join the green team - if you look at the ammount of crap chris used to get and give before the pink member went mouldy... its fairly evident that they are thinking matt should be next ;) )
