Ok, so I hate the new Tassimo "improved" latte milk pods...

@JohnN I have some Chai Latte's here which I tried but don't like tbh. Not sure how many there are but if you'll cover the postage you're more than welcome to them...? They are the old style milk pods btw as I've had them since August last year  :$. Tried our local FB selling sites but no one wants them lol.
We tried those as well and I couldn't stand them, definitely an acquired taste. However I found a use, when your green thai curry gets a little too thick, it is brilliant to thin it a little :) Better than adding mode coconut milk.

@viv1969 if you aren't getting the full amount, you may want to run a cleaning cycle. Just pop in the cleaning disc from the back of the device and a descaling tablet. Seems to do the trick for us, the Americano ends up with a nice crema again, and right up to the top of my glass....Hmmm might go downstairs and have one now :)

Don't forget though, you'll still need to clean the Latisimo milk side if you opt for that.

The aerator is very easy to clean - honest :)

Umm not so much actually. The latissimo milk part will actually unclip from the machine and you store it in the fridge, very knacky feature.

I bought the linked nespresso machine as a christmas present last year for the wife after ruling out the faffy frothers that do need cleaning on each use so opted for this more expensive all in one.

If you can live with the red version it's only £158 from here but only 2 left!

Its important to remember that nespressos do not do hot chocolate etc but do give you recipes for espresso related drinks ie macciatos, mochas etc etc.
Personally I just use if for good old fashioned coffee and love it, the wife uses it for the girly drinks so I let her crack on, a year down the road and I don't regret it, the coffee pods are lovely and there is huge range, their delivery is perfect and after trying some of the alternative pods out there? they are all crap compared to genuine nespresso ones.

Thanks Donnie, good tip on the milk.
I was poking round last night and found I could get the black one from Amazon France for £144, still quite expensive but much better with 80 Euros, but it may still work with the UK site.

The one I found cheap was an older one, a 680 which looks fine but I'm waiting on the reply to a message before buying

Thanks JP. I looked at it in the cupboard, then boiled the milk and made my coffee.
I'm less tolerant of FAFF these days

Ooh now that I didn't know - might have to treat myself to a new machine :)

Well, job done, I just bought that used DeLonghi EN680 M Nespresso Lattissima - not the newest model but the owner wasn't using it much and will chuck in some pods - much better at £75 (delivered) than the full whack :)

Wow, seems like a bargain - enjoy it :)

There's a slightly newer one I think on there, just search for Lattissima, it was under £90 delivered so looked pretty good too.

Btw send my apologies to the keeper of the purse strings [emoji3]
