That moment when you send a picture message to the mrs of the nursery bedroom cut up and removed only for her to reply with it's our bedroom carpet getting replaced!!

OH s***!!!

Maybe not the best time to show her the lens that arrived today and now I'm having to get both room and stairs carpeted!

Think I'm in bad books when she finishes her shift tonight. I might go for a long walk with the camera

Even when we went carpet shopping I said will go nice with the light green in babies room.
Now I have 3 rooms to clear before carpet man comes on Friday!

I'm selling it as if the babies room will look 10x better now it's going to have a new carpet.

Couldn't of picked worse time with a hormonal pregnant women!!!

She calming down now (thank god she at work) and coming round to the benefit that all upstairs will be fresh carpet. This cock up could have a decent outcome (I hope)

She can't drink with been pregnant so I shall have a bottle of wine open for when she gets home for me to drink [emoji2] if you don't hear from me after 9pm I will be under the patio!!

I realised after I posted and was about to add,
the fact that James could drink it, and he wouldn't feel the "battering" he may receive :D

I rarely get a monster sitter anyway... although i do get 10 days free starting from Thursday early AM as he's away on hols ........plus i can lock them in the little Harry Potter cupboard if i need to:D can't do that with a pesky male ...................( could be worth a try though;))

She's angry and hormonal . . . I don't think James's mental health is going to matter one way or the other.
Better to open the door with a shovel and pair of gardening gloves instead and ask her which bit of the patio she wants lifting up.
