Hey guys!

Fantastic forum you have here!...Ive been browsing for quite a while so thought I would join in...

A bit about me, I have no photographic background and am a total amateur...My equipment consists of a Canon 350D with the 18-55 kit lens, A Nifty Fifty and a 70-300 USM IS which I got from the USA recently. Much cheaper than Blighty!

I have had the camera a couple of years but im only just getting to grips with all the functions now. I'm also slowly learning how to use photoshop by using the in-program tutorials...I hope to learn a lot from this forum!

Anyway heres a few snaps I took on a recent trip to New York...I would warmly welcome any constructove criticism to improve my technique and do's and don'ts!

NY by night. Unfortunately I didnt have a tripod so I had to improvise by resting the camera on the ledge through the iron railings :lol:
