Your going to spend that fiver to wet your whistle :p

Wedding day! It was an old friends wedding today...went really well (I hope ). Just when I had thought I had escaped the horses for a bit...up rolled a horse and carriage to collect the bride! I was actually quite happy to see it...it beats a hummer limo or similar tasteless tat! :) I had this shot in mind as soon as I saw it...I like how the driver was having a sneaky peak too  She was really nice though!

Ha, love it. Driver made me laugh once you mentioned it. Didnt see it first time

Cheers chaps! Haven't edited it all yet so looks a bit dull....couldn't be bothered last night :p

lovely shot - like the way you got her tattoo, which looks pretty and fits in with the occasion. I really like the glare in #78, makes the shot for me, gives you a real feel for the sunshine. Gives it quite a 70's California effect, although you may have no idea what I mean by that

I might only be 23 and 1/12th but I think I understand  Photo for today...on the way...when I can decide which! I best choose soon, my chips are going cold

Hurry up. I am going to bed soon!!!

Edit:
Stuff it!!! I will see this in the morning!

Day 081 of 365

I did a shoot for a lovely chap today, named Cavali. It was a paid shoot...very rushed though due to him being a little late, tram in Manchester don't work too well on Sundays! Managed to get in 40 minutes though. It was a location shoot in Ancoats, so I was quite surprised to see him turn up with changes of clothes. But full kudos to him...he got changed in the street, and it was bloomin' freezing! Anyway, one of many shots I liked...Got some more work doing photography behind the scenes on a new TV shot he is developing, which has interested from the BBC and MTV. Today has been a good day :)

PS. I really should add....he is a singer! If anyone fancies a listen, you can do so by clicking here! :)

Nice shot Phil.

Is he bloomin mad, getting changed in the street

Now that makes me feel a lot better!

 Well, I'm into my rock and alternate music so it wasn't up my street either...but taking pictures is what I do, I'm no music professional :D There seems to be a big following for it though, and I hope he does do well because he is deserving of it!

Looking good there Phil, may I surgest a band called the black keys very good.....you can here them on last fm (internetty) and the album is attack and release

Fantastic

Did I mention the pictures were good   :D

I'd like to see that in B&W too would look completely different. Great shot though, love the colour of the wall against his hair/complexion.

81 is a great picture, and as has been mentioned would look good as a high contrast B&W (i think), but the little plastic bracket thing next to his arm is bugging the hell out of me now i've spotted it :bang:

Just catching up Phil. Great shots. I really like the beach shot.

Cheers Dave!

81 is great, bet it would look good in B&W too

Thank you...got to edit them properly this evening so I shall give it a go

Got a few days to catch up on as I've been to Poland...more talk of that in a bit!

Off on the train to Birmingham for my flight to Krakow again!

Day 083 of 365

We stayed at the 'Good bye Lenin' hostel in Krakow...lightly themed on the man himself and the era! When I say lightly, I mean lightly  Really good atmosphere though, and cheap!

Day 084 of 365

84_JU7F4072.jpg

We took a visit to Auschwitz...my second. Along with our new friend Dan...hello! :D We went into a couple of the deserted exhibitions displaying the plight of the Jews from Various counties. The dutch one was deserted, I tried to find the name of Anne Frank, hoping to use that as my photo, alas, she was not there :( There were 50,000 names and origins written on to huge display boards. Very moving, and to think, they were only a tiny percentage of the total amount of people murdered there.

Day 84 is good with the vertical plane of focus (makes a change from the usal horizontal approach).

Its a place i'd love to visit (so would my 11 year old)

Looking really good Phil.

Enjoy Polska then?

Oh yeah, was watching the credits of 10 years younger on C4, and the end result of the bloke on there, looked like you

Lol, the only hing that looked like you is the hair style (except the grey one it

Just to clarify questions later :D

And bless you. You should have an early night.

Do you know how hard it is to take a photo of the back of your head without a tripod?

Day 087 of 365

I need a memory upgrade! Could have sworn the wedding was today, but it is tomorrow...not that I'm complaining, the weather is pant's today  Plus I get to watch the England match - which my brother has gone to watch at Wembley!

As you may have guessed...had to reshoot these as I left the memory card they were on at home :( I didn't want to make you wait until I got back from Dublin (might not be going yet) on Wednesday for the update ;)

Ha, buy a tripod then

Ermmm your own fault for leaving the card at home...

and nothing else to say!

A wedding today at Leez Priory, Essex. It was the wedding of Joanne and Ian, whom I rented a house from last year! It was a pleasure to shoot their wedding for them! This is the bride and her father before heading up to the ceremony...a lot of nerves were present :D

Good shot Phil. B&W makes it look better IMO.

Anyways, must cool down as I was playing football in the first half of my photography lesson.

I only just remembered why I dont play this sport !!

Ooooo that aint good enough
