Liking day 69 nicely lit lovely blue sky and a nice but unusual angle. congrats on the car insurance, got my license back today so hopefully in a month or two I'll be nicking this idea ;)

It is a much aquired skill! Knock off all the extras for a start, no insurance, no airport checkin etc...and you have to search through all the days for the cheapest flights. It might just so happen to be that that is the cheapest you can do it the moment, it depends what offer they got on!

Feels good doesn't it! Had my first drive today, 12 miles across the Suffolk countryside as the sun was going down..I wanted to stop and take a photo but my brother would have driven off :lol:

Good evening one and all....sorry I haven't updated! Been working the last 3 days, shock horror! ;) 14 hour days too so am totally pooped...got the photos though (I think!) so just need to get round to sorting them out :)

Well, mixed lucked with securing my photos...don't know what was taken when, so as it was all one big job...I have a selection of a few photos taken throughout :)

Eye eye! Decided to dust off the old extension tubes I picked up at Jessops cheap last year for some macro fun! The butterflies etc will be out soon so thought I'd get some practise in with my eye...which is more difficult than it sounds! As I had no auto focus, I had to keep moving my head in and out, repeatedly taking shots hoping one would be in focus...whilst getting a blast of flash in my eye each time! So I'm not partially blind :lol:

Oh it was...not to mention windy, cold and full of horses! :p I did manage to avoid any mess on my shoes, although did get showered in horse drool on one occasion... yum! :lol:

Is that a proper camo coat? Been looking for some camo gear, you mind me asking how much you paid? (you seem to get some good deals)

Hi Mark! It's a current issue US Air Force jacket and didn't cost me a bean ;) I do believe you can get replicas/others with that design/material though :)

There is an army surplus store in Manchester that looks pretty good, in the Northern Quarter near Tib Street...probably miles cheaper than both of those, plus you can try it on etc :)
