Oh no... Another 365!

I know snow photo's will be all over the forum.
But I think it's great, got this one in early(ish) today.

My street, but not my car!

Nah I wanted to show how heavy the snow was lol.
No matter what way I turned it didn't show very well though, the flakes are all lost on the background.

I always find it difficult to shoot snow falling. I end up taking loads of shots in the hope that one manages to catch it!

great shots Cyclone, love the kitty munching hard

Fabs, I have the same problem. :( Took one this morning in the middle of a blizzard and it looked like a perfectly lovely summers day when I checked it on the laptop!!

Cheers me dear :D

Well,
yesterday was such a ridiculous drain on my time that my "effort" is not worth posting. Had to shoot it while stuck in traffic, 45 mins to do 1 mile, and it wasn't caused by the snow!
If you really want to see it, it's here:-
But I wouldn't bother.

Made sure I got something today,
I think snow is great, and if you can find some blue sky it makes things even better. Not the best I've seen, but acceptable.

Got out early today.
Had to take Vicki to work because of the snow.
Just did a few in the garden.

Another snow shot from thismorning.
A different golf course after dropping Vicki off, again.

Liking the last few snow shots there mate just catching up on the last few days, looks bloody cold in that last one. The snow only lasted one day up here and I had to work was hoping to take the dog for a nice long walk so he could have a run and play in it he loves the stuff just didn't get the chance was a few inches of it one day the next no sign of it at all.

Sean

Cheers mate.
Think I'm boring people with the snow stuff, oh well lol.

Today driving towards the Malvern Hills felt like driving up to the Alps. But by the time I got to photo them it didn't look quite the same.
Nice sunset though.

Cheers guys,
these hills looked absolutely spectacular earlier on with the sun on them. I'm so gutted that I did not have the time to stop and get a shot.
More snow has just been forecast on the met office web site though, so I may get another chance.

Yesterdays shot would make a really nice windows wallpaper :)
Tell me your pixel count and I'll do you one if you like

Just caught up with this. Love that snowy golf course. Did you play a round? :D
Cheers mate, no I can't play, and the course has been shut all week lol.

Another shot of the street today I'm afraid. I was visiting family 10 miles away and it was just wet there. Got back to this, 10 minutes and my tyre tracks were gone, all melting again now though.

Cheers mate,
was a blizzard, but yet again failed to catch the flakes. 0.6s exposure killed it I think, flash was flat :(

It's probably worth pointing out that the sky has gone crystal clear.
The snow that's still there and the water it's created will be rock hard ice by morning.

I'm fed up of it being here in the morning, so I take Vicki to work as she doesn't like to drive in it, and it being gone in the afternoon, so I have to pick her up for no good reason!
I just wish it'd batter us properly, lets all get snowed in for 2 days then carry on as normal.

great shot. I was going to use the monkeh this evening too, but am waiting for a few days :D

Cheers guys, he was just there on the floor. I liked the shadow over his face, and he looked how I felt.

Today's, if it has a meaning, I don't know what it is.

LOL, cool cheers.
I don't do abstract, this 365 must be messing with my head.
Could be a good thing?

Sharp.

Why do they always break AFTER you've cleaned them?
I like that it's a Coke glass, in times of big companies under pressure.
I bet Coke are alright though.

i find it more annoying when they bounce 3 times and then break, you always think youve gotten away with it .

I had this a couple of weeks ago. I dropped a glass and it landed on it's thick base and bounced, quite high. I almost caught it but it then landed on the rim and shattered! :bang:

Moon, Monkey, and Coke glass are all excellent shots

Only just catching up again, but will be up to speed by weekend and will be updating mine again ;)

Thanks a lot guys.
I seem to have been really busy lately, so a few lame shots I'm afraid, although I do like todays.

43, a trip to a gig. Vicki and her mate in the pub waiting for the band to start. Vicki's cousin is the front man.

44, my breakfast. I'm already disappointed with this one, I should have used less choco hoop things to make it look better, at least I know for next time.

45, furminator. Anybody that has a long haired cat, or a dog that sheds, needs one of these! It gets all of the dead hair/fur out of the animals coat and works loads better than any other equivalent product.

46, Archie. My sisters Staffie, paid us a visit today so I grabbed a load of shots in the garden.

365_46.jpg

I tried to catch him in the air, but there just wasn't enough light for action stopping shots today, so I went down the wide angle portrait route :)

No visitors for 4 days, should I give it up?

Todays idea hit me hard, which was good, less thinking time :D

I actually have no need for a D3X, but I couldn't find the mag with the D700 in
