Oh lord. I am in a sticky situation!!!

£11-12k for a first job? I've have bitten their hand off! That's a blooming good wage in this day and age for someone starting out with no experience etc.

......apparently "Im not ready for full time work" according to the parents

What does that mean? Surely you would need the same amount of commitment and maturity if you go to college?

I really hope another opportunity comes your way as I think you've just let a wonderful opportunity go by the wayside.

I agree and I hope we are proved wrong.:)

So do I.

I would love 11-12k a year for doing something I like :D

I would take the job if they're training you in something which you enjoy.

I passed my degree a few years ago and i'm still in the same job as when i left uni, without experience it's difficult to walk into a job.

I would say don't rely on having that money every week, don't go taking out any loans because you have that guaranteed income. That way, you can always go back into full time education next year if you wanted.

Edit: Sorry, just realised you didn't take it :bonk:
