.. I had my camera on me this morning...!

I caught the 06:09 from Newport to Paddington and once boarded I did a little work in the 20 mins it takes to get to Bristol Parkway. I'd then finished the stuff I had to get ready for the 09:00 meeting I'd scheduled in London, so decided I'd get comfy and have some shut-eye.

Nodded off and on, but woke up just outside Reading and looked out the window to see an awesome sight. The sky was just beautiful; rich oranges, shaded rolling clouds... oh how I wish I had my camera with me. What a sunrise it was...

Just wanted to mention this...:)

You went out.................. Without a camera....................

Shame on you!!!

Bet it wont happen again though will it

Sure won't Chris... hey - I thought you were going to use the 14-54mm at the Blackpool meet? Was looking forward to seeing what you did with it.

took the 40d instead due to the 10-20mm and the 50mm 1.8

Really need to sell that kidney so i can get the 7-14mm :D

Look lovely this morning driving to work. Going west not east, towards Swansea so trying to look in the mirrors for a better view. Not a good idea :cuckoo:

It was beautiful this morning. I just managed to snap this around 07.30 from our bedroom window before having to dash out.

Ah - Glad it's not just me that enjoys the delights of the 5.55 to London Paddington then !

If it makes you feel any better John, I saw the same amazing sunrise as I was heading off to a job this morning just after 7........

and yes I had a boot load of cameras, lenses, filters and just about anything you could possibly need for just about any kind of shot. The trouble was I had an hour to get somewhere an hour away. All I could do was soak it up and with I could have stopped for a while.

Got to the shoot at 8........

Client was over an hour late. I nearly strung him up when he arrived.

Oh wow - I bet you had to show considerable restraint there Daz cos it was one awesome sunrise.

I totally agree it's always the way!

I was leaving Hull last weekend and saw the best sunshine behind the humber bridge, I did have my camera but was also doing about 60 mph on the M62!

Sorry officer I thought it would be okay!
