oh, good grief!

I'm not sending any this year!!!

I'm gonna lock myself away from it all and stuff my face on quality street :D

Bah humbug!!

Just wait for the first lights to go up

There won't be very many this year, people will be too afraid to have any on on account of electricity costing more.
As for the early card thing, last week a ladyfriend had just recieved a Christmas Catalogue from 'Hampers'. Nothing unusual about that you may think . . . except this is for taking orders for Christmas 2009.

Jesus! :shake:

The following reasons/excuses can be used to get out of most Christmas traditions/activities....

1) "sorry, I'm skint, credit crunch y'know"
2) "Christmas decorations add to light pollution and that is sooo wrong, dahlink"
3) "Christmas card manufacture is leading to the depletion of the rain forest "
4) "Christmas has become little more than a celebration of capitalist greed, brother"
5) "I invested all my Christmas money with Fairpack last year"
6) "I invested all my Christmas money with Landbanki in Iceland this year"
7) "I do not want to offend any minority groups who do not celebrate Christmas"
8) "I am a tight git"

I'm gonna pretend i'm bankrupt and hopefully i'll get an xmas card from the government with £50 billion in it this year................

That reminded me of an episode of this years apprentice where someone had the not so brilliant idea of designing a card to send to people to tell them about the depletion of trees and what effect greetings cards have on the environment.

I was absolutely ****ing myself:lol:

Funny you should say that, a guy on my delivery who normally decorates his house was up on his ladder and when I said I thought he was putting his lights up he said exactly that.
