In the words of Agent K...

"Good afternoon. Please give your attention to my associate, Agent J. He's going to demonstrate an Electro-Biomechanical-Neuro-Transmitting-Zero-Synapses-Repositioner, we call it the Neuralizer."

<flash>

All better now....? ;) :D

or iNeutalizer?
Same hardware, different casing and UI. Some claim it has changed their lives and they couldn't possibly go back to a standard Neuralyzer. ;)

I'm pretty sure they use a thicker material on the casing of the i version.

mini version due soon

I've seen the light....

OSX is naff ;)

Will be dual booting Windows 7/8 on it shortly.

The only thing that I've liked about it so far is iTunes doesn't crash as much. lol

Ahahah...

OK. TOTALLY NOT wanting to start a OSX/Windows/Linux but can you summarise your thoughts? I've only ever used OSX for half an hour at a time - I hated it that much I always stop before I shoved the keyboard through the screen. Would be interested in your thoughts on it too.

PM me if you feel it is too inflamatory.... ;)

Its not too horrible and I also use windows and linux (on separate machines)

My 7 year old macbook runs lion with only 2GB of RAM, no complaints after I put a new HDD in it.

:)

Just doesn't seem to compute with my brain. Everything is backwards and the window menu is right at the top of the screen....

I have a 5 year old mid range PC with 2G in that runs Win 7 fine... :)

Takes a bit of time to learn the layout - just like a new car.
After a short while, you'll instinctively know where to place your hand.

Disjointed is the only way to describe Apple's way of thinking.

I'd hate to think how many things I googled yesterday on how to do things in OSX

Nahh. You're OK. It's just backwards ;) Especially if you need to alternate between the two.

Plus I absolutely hate the window menu bar at the top of the screen. It effectively assumes a single app on screen. This is a dealbreaker for me just in itself.

I know I'm not the usual user ;) I currently have 4 virtual desktops, each larger than 6000 x 1200 and I'm contemplating a fifth virtual desktop as I don't feel I have enough screen estate/work areas to spread out on....

A poor workman always blames the tools!

You don't like what you don't like.
You're still wrong though, but being a SA*, you'd never admit to it. ;)

*SysArch, not smartarse.........although.......

I don't like it as it would slow me down...

I'm actually a consumer electronics project manager (digital set top boxes).

Building and running networks of computers is a hobby (yes, I am aware that might not be a socially acceptable thing to admit, but... ;) :D)
