OSX is naff
OK. TOTALLY NOT wanting to start a OSX/Windows/Linux but can you summarise your thoughts? I've only ever used OSX for half an hour at a time - I hated it that much I always stop before I shoved the keyboard through the screen. Would be interested in your thoughts on it too.

Will be dual booting Windows 7/8 on it shortly.

Its not too horrible and I also use windows and linux (on separate machines)
My 7 year old macbook runs lion with only 2GB of RAM, no complaints after I put a new HDD in it.

Just doesn't seem to compute with my brain. Everything is backwards and the window menu is right at the top of the screen....
I have a 5 year old mid range PC with 2G in that runs Win 7 fine...

Especially if you need to alternate between the two.Plus I absolutely hate the window menu bar at the top of the screen. It effectively assumes a single app on screen. This is a dealbreaker for me just in itself.
I know I'm not the usual user
I currently have 4 virtual desktops, each larger than 6000 x 1200 and I'm contemplating a fifth virtual desktop as I don't feel I have enough screen estate/work areas to spread out on....
