Looks like I may have been done over, I bought a 5ltr tub on the 15th as I wanted good oil in the car..........the oilfilter arrived ok as did the rest of the service parts but the oil (expensive stuff).........

Looks like a trip to a local garage to pay double AND A PAYPAL DISPUTE STARTING.......why do they do this for about £1500 its not the sort of money you can do a runner with is it, anyway someone said it would end in tears, you were right ......once all my stuff I have bought on evilbay has arrived and this dispute is over I am leaving .....FOR GOOD:bang:

Was checking through the listings of the person you linked to and a number of the product listings have links to others peoples accounts/listings.

seems that way, but on first look I thought I was saving about 20 quid with delivery but now I wish I had spent the money in asda.......we live n learn

One recent feedback mentions family illness, might be a genuine seller with problems.

Did you have a look at there listings as opposed to feedback?

Not closely, I saw a dozen or so small items, no oil but ? I did see positive feedback for sale of oil.

I am going to give them a few more days just to give them the benefit of doubt before I start actions as they did have good feedback for years untill recently, and if there is a family problem I dont mind waiting but an email letting customers know wouldnt go amiss

my money would be on them not being a scammer.

i can spot them a mile off, and this one has gone to a lot of work just to rip a few people off for £20 at a time.

I think the 'family illness' feedback is a big hint.

It could be a recently compromised account

The fact that they have other ebay listings that have links that go to other ebay accounts/listings is a big warning sign

but would you nick someones account just to sell oil at £20?

will be interesting to find out either way :)

I have found the tel no and called and there IS a serious illness within the family so the seller is having to do lots of travelling so therefore I will just hang on untill next week as she has asked

well done for refraining from giving them negative feedback.
shame the other buyers were so quick to judge.

i hope the family member gets well soon.

Thanks Gary I did notice the feedback about an illness so tried to contact first without going through PP

I got done over yesterday, I was looking for the number for 02 customer services, 2nd hit on google came up with a number so I dialed it, I got an automated message telling me to dial an 0870 number so I went back to the web page and at the bottom of the screen I see the £1.50 service charge, teach me not to look before dialing.

I am ****ed off that the 2nd hit on google is a scam though.

at least you're covered by paypal,

I will let you know the outcome as soon as I know but it does seem that after the phone call from myself and a few others that have contacted me she doesnt want to reply still to anyone or defend her name that has more bad feedback.........I am still 50/50 on this

Just had a phone call from PP by a lovely sounding Irish lass, asking me if I have had any contact from the seller, which I havent heard a peep...she then advised me I have 7 days to start a claim and didnt exactly ask me to but made it clear I should do it sooner rather than later..........looks like 56 people have been had and looks like its going to dispute as the phone number I did have is now permanently turned off.

I dont give bad feedback and can only remember doing this 3 years ago once.....but looks like I may have to do it once more.....pity really as the seller was doing so well

Might I suggest paying him a visit with a heavy gardening implement of some sort?

Would you appreciate that if you were in the same situation with a loved one in (for the sake argument) intensive care?

I dont think he meant any harm mate (magik) just a passing phrase, and I am gonna give it the six days before anything as its a situation thats either kosher and she is telling the truth, in which case she will sort it mid week as promised but I wont let my deadline pass either so still unsure, any way Gary has already said it so I will give the benefit of doubt but must act if I havent heard anything by tuesday...............just so I can claim my money back if this does go boobs up

Called again this morning to make sure my order would be here by the end of next week and was greeted by a bloke telling me to Ducck orf...........so neg now left and dispute well and truly opened, and I thought she was being truthfull

well quite a few more negs left and unanswered email and phonecalls.......looks like me and 55 more have been had over...... so its going to have to be £40 for the oil now dammit

It finally arrived today and close inspection shows its an original item and not been tampered with, I am happy now haha

good news, because i thought i was going to have to admit i was wrong :) phew!

:lol::lol: it seems the seller is selling the items then buying them in before they can send, but it does seem most people will get the oil which is a good thing.........better late than never and did save me £20:thumbs:
