Official Unofficial 2015 - 52 Sign Up Thread

Hi all, I took part briefly back in 2013 (lasted 3 weeks ), and thought I would try again this year. Could I please be added to the list?

So I have tried, and failed, twice now. Both times at around the 9th week. Must be something happens around that point.

I am not sure about committing again. Strongly considering though. I'll give it another couple of days of consideration.

Hi Michael... added you to the sheet, good luck for 2015 (y)
Hi Dark Night!

Can you add me to your spreadsheet for 2015!

I hope I can do it this time… I failed back in 2012 when I last done this… I've had a two year break from photography so looking forward to interest to see how I fair.

To anyone who still does the 52's who remembers me… HI! Hope you are all well!

Mark

Busy night tonight :D

Get signed up Dan.

Do you want the thread title changing to the Official Unofficial 2015 52 Thread??

 Welcome aboard Michael, Dan, Mark and good luck!

Do you want the thread title changing to the Official Unofficial 2015 52 Thread??

It does seem to have been hijacked it slightly doesn't it?
Might be an idea to change it - I've linked to it in the launch thread, but it may make it easier for Dean to keep the spreadsheet up to date if it's a bit more visible for everyone to post in.
If you want to change your title I'll make it a sticky at the top of the page for a couple of weeks while people are still joining up.

Ok im going to try this, no guarantee I will be able to keep up but will give it a good try - please can you sign me up? :)

I have just reached one milestone with 100 posts on TP and so it now seems appropriate to start the 2015 52 challenge if you will have me!
Evening David... Welcome to the 2015 '52

Join in, post some pics and have some fun :)

Hey Dark Knight, could you amend the name that has been entered on the spreadsheet. I have been entered as Plumbtreelad when in fact there is no "b" in the middle - it is just Plumtreelad

Thanks

No worries, adding you now...

People often miss a week and post it a week later, it happens when on holiday or when life gets in the way, the 52 is yours, try to set your own rules at the start and keep to them if you can, some may post a 'placeholder' a 'Joker' or even an 'Archive' shot if they struggle one week, obviously the placeholder and Joker are loosly preffered as you have to get your camera out to take them, after all that is the idea of the challenge, to get use out of your kit/hobby... hope this helps

I enjoyed the 2010_52 but not got into it since - please can I be added for 2015?

Hiya, I'm doing this backwards I think :),I posted my practice shots and didn't sign up here - better late than never, I hope

Edit - but I'm on the spreadsheet thingy already....should've checkd first oops

Hi Folks, The 52 challenge sounds great fun ! and a good opportunity to learn along the way, would love to take part, and hopefully complete.
Here's to 2015 !! May the focus be with you !! All the very best Folks !! :)

Dear all,

Happy New Year ! (Well, very nearly !)

It's been 2 years since I have entered anything on the TP52, naturally my brain is a little rusty ! Please could you help me with a bit of technical information ?

1) In the spreadsheet we used to tick the week we have completed. I'm unable to do this as it's 'view' only. Who does this please ?

2) When I post a link I'm unable to edit the URL with a title or description of my choosing. Its also in bold and italics, Please could you tell me how to remedy this ?

Example, my link to my thread: Blank_Canvas (Nick) TP52 2015 - Week 0 - Patterns added - how can I keep the link and change the wording, italics back to normal and unbold it ?

I'm probably being really dim here and i know it's something really simple !

Many thanks,

Nick

1) Dark knight does the spread sheet and keeps it up to date (Well done Dean :) )
2) The linky thingy is down to the forum software, and its there to show everyone that its actually a linky.
However, a cheat, first off, highlight and change the colour (to what ever) once the link has been inserted.
Click the bold symbol a couple of times until it reverts back to normal.
Same applies to the italics.
Its not 100% fool proof but its more descreet
You can also alter the text size of it BTW

Thanks for that but I still don't get it. In the example below "Post your photographs here" is a hyperlink - how do change the words ? - you used to be able to do that.

Also add your photo to the "Post your Photographs Here" thread so that others can see at a glance who's posted updates.

If you highlight what you want to be your hyperlink, the click the link icon above, 7th from left, insert the page you want to link to and press, insert (or what ever it says), that should do the trick....

Thanks Andy,

I'm trying to post a hyperlink (not the photo) Although I want the link, I don't wan't the meaningless blurb. I want to be able to change the wording in the link for example to say "week 0 - pattern" - and then you click on "week 0 - pattern" it takes you to the page. I used to be able to change this this all the time, I just can't remember how to do it ?
