I went out for an amble around the hills of North Wales today, as I was already carrying a rucksac I couldn't be bothered with the weight of 5d and associated kit.
So I decided to give my little ixus 220 a go, as a point and shoot it's fine as a serious camera the jury is still out...... there's no manual mode and it kept trying to shoot a landscape at daft settings like 1/1000 @f2.7 quite why it couldn't decide to use something more reasonable like 1/125 and a smaller aperture is something only Canon know.
Here is mine, I'd actually planned on doing a sunset, but my back soon put a stop to that. Can barely get off the sofa, so the dog had to fill in instead.
After watching the 7-a-side football final at the Paralympics and not taking any photos I was really happy with I got this on the South Bank instead. Part of the Thames Festival. Couldn't make the meet unfortunately...
Wow. Just wow. Incredible and unbelievable standard of images - each giving a fantastic personal insight into your #TPDay12. Congratulations one and all!
