What's my subject? If it's something like the speed trials and I want action shots, I'll take digital. If it's people watching or general street, I'll take film. Appropriate tool for the job and all that.![]()

This 139 is in extremely good condition, as is the FR1.........but Ken didn't you give me a 139 and some winders a few years ago? Well it was handy as well as a superior camera to my FR1 which developed the common film counter fault....I offered the FR1 here but no takers, and as everything else was working thought it was a shame to bin it so fixed the counter myself and gave it to a charity shop.
My opinion of DSB lenses was rock bottom as the 50mm and 28mm I got with the camera were crap, and someone (might have been you) gave me a 50mm DSB which is much better.
Trying to avoid resorting to the Bay of E but I'm running out of patience lolWhy is it that as soon as you decide what new toy to buy, they seem to disappear from every shop on earth! Looking for an SQ-A but nowhere seems to have any. Got 24 film camera shops saved in my shortcuts and every day I go through each one of them to see if one's been added since the day beforeTrying to avoid resorting to the Bay of E but I'm running out of patience lol

Yashica 44, 127 gorgeousness! by Nick Watson, on FlickrNot quite available on the high street but obtainable quite easily now on tinterweb.Cute wee camera.
Is 127 regularly available, or do you have to go to 'specialist' shops?

I couldn't afford the baby Rolleiflex, but the little Yashica is a great alternative.Time to look out for a Baby Rolleiflex again then ....
Just collected my soon-to-be 'pocket-sized' 4x5!
@Andysnap lusts after most cameras but he mostly lusts after cameras he used to ownWas Andysnap not lusting after a Baby Rolleiflex a while ago?

Canon FD 15mm f/2.8 by Strappy, on Flickr
Finally, for now, a Canon 15mm f/2.8 fisheye. I do love a nice wide-angle and this was my birthday present to myself this year. The shape of the front element and built-in petal hood means that you can't fit filters so there's a small selection built into the lens, selected by the dial under the hood. Lovely little lens that I must get out and use properly.![]()

I really like the look of that.Another self-treat which I couldn't resist as this is a lens I've been looking for (at a reasonable price) since I bought my Canon P. It's a Canon LTM 100mm f/2, found on ebay from a Japanese seller who'd put it up for auction rather than fixed price as seems to be the norm. I thought it was worth a punt, stuck in a low bid and 15 hours later to my surprise, I hadn't been outbid. Even after paying import duty, VAT and the Royal Mail rip-off fee, it still cost considerably less than is being asked for them from dealers and fixed price auctions so I'm very chuffed.

It completes my little P collection - the P has non-selectable framelines for 35mm, 50mm and 100mm lenses so here they all are together. One thing I hadn't considered is the width of the lens means it blocks a little of the light getting to the rangefinder spot but that's something I'm willing to live with for 13 aperture blades and all that light

I like the look of the Canon rangefinders and they're much cheaper than Leica of course. How are they in use?
Just opened a box from ffordes, contains a 100mm f/4 semi-macro Pentax-M lens, with original box and a completely mint lens case (I've never seen a better one). Nice!
