Bloody hell, that's enormous![]()

I've just got me one of these b*rst*rds - looking forward to a world of frustration and overlapping shots!
check 1/125, and try not to use it in the cold weather...While we're posting new kit, here's the Schneider 90mm lens that I bought from Woodsy, attached to my Nagaoka 5x4 Woody, please forgive the iPhone pic.
at least you know what you're in for!check 1/125, and try not to use it in the cold weather...

I finally got round to taking a decent photo of my newly acquired eos 1-v hs. I am loving using this, it is my first auto focus film camera. I think I am going to be getting through a lot of film.

TheBigYin said:sorry - sold both the 50-1.0L, the the 50-1.2L and the 85mm 1.2L last year, just wasn't using 'em, and it was a serious chunk of money to leave in the camerabag.
I don't know whether you have found this site but there are tips on here on how to avoid the dreaded overlapping frames. http://www.pentaconsix.com/Loading.htmI've just got me one of these b*rst*rds - looking forward to a world of frustration and overlapping shots!

An exciting new package arrived from deepest, darkest China this morning. Inside was this little beauty, and I'm now the proud owner of a Chamonix 045f1:
Excuse the terrible picture, and beware the space invaders. Hopefully some images from the thing shortly![]()

That's very nice, what lens have you got on it?
EdBray said:Very similar to my ShenHao PTB45

It's a Zeiss Ikon Contaflex (I think II) from about 1955 with a neat little Zeiss Tessar 45mm f2.8 lens. Although this was the consumer version of the Contarex it is still highly regarded. Built like a tank, typical German engineering.
Anyone used one?
Andy

Thanks Nick for the info Nick, I like that dated look.

Well its here,
Leica-II by andysnapper1, on Flickr
Its in really nice condition given its age as is the lens, it even came with an original Leica case.
But.....I am just a little wary as the serial number seems to poit to it being a Leica I which it patently is not.

Any thoughts?

Seems that nobody has noticed the lens is 50mm not 5cm. Usually millimetre markings means a Russian fake as Leitz always used centimetres. As far as I know.
