OFFICIAL I HAVE A NEW (FILM RELATED) TOY THREAD!!

Yes Danny it's all part of the master plan, I will get the polaroid & film backs first and a digital back when I find a Leaf or Phase One bargain.

Just bought an L-grip for the RZ67. I'm in trouble when her indoors finds out....lol

A very rough punt - some sort of bellows system on the front of the lens, maybe an AE prism on the body, left handed grip and a Vivitar 283 mounted on a coldshoe, linked by a PC socket to the camera body?

Do we think maybe there's a motor winder on the far side or is it part of the grip, my pro had a much curvier design so I dunno.
Also I think the bellows are actually an adjustable shade with gel runners.

I'll take a punt on the bellows being a Mamiya universal lens hood? Agree with the Vivitar 283, mounted on a Vivitar flash grip connected to camera via PC sync cable, Mamiya power winder with hand strap on the opposite side. Prism finder (don't know if it's an AE version) & shutter release cable :)

I'm no expert John but I think the earlier 645 used a power winder that continued under the body so I agree there's a power winder fitted.

Retracting the bellows (no pun intended), me being stupid - any lens bellows would be directly attached to the lens mount and then the lens, whereas whatever it is appears to be mounted on the end of the lens. Didn't notice the power winder, but it definitely looks like one.

Definitely a power winder. I'd put my money on it being a PD AE prism finder rather than the CdS one.

e2a: Is that the f/1.9 80mm?

Ten internets have been awarded between you ^^

I had these donated to me by a family friend today

Can't find out much about this but it is a bloody big piece of kit and this one is minty. Just need a battery for it now.

And an Oly Trip 35

Apparently being used up until last year, its in ok knick, could do with a clean but seems to be firing ok.

I know, very strange looking but the little I can find seems to say that the lens is damn sharp and that its actually a good camera. Oh well, I'll run a film through it and find out.

Andy

Much too many to list, see here for an idea good job I took the day off today to sort it all out and find somewhere to store it all until it can be used. My wife is not happy!

Cheers.
Doubt I'll be printing much bigger here anytime soon as I've just realised I'd also need a bigger easel too!

Okay, your ship has just come in, Paul (Mr Bizzarre) has given me a plethora of darkroom equipment and this included a few enlarging lenses, so if you PM me your address I will send you a very nice 6 Element Fujimoto 50mm f2.8, Oh, you don't need an easel to print larger images, tape a couple of steel rules at right angles onto your baseboard and use resin coated paper and print borderless, where there's a will there's a way!

He also gave me a lovely pair of Schneider Componon-S lenses which will go nicely with the two very nice LPL7700 and Durst M670 Colour enlargers.

I will be posting an advert in the near future to offer some other items to those that might like them but I have to run it by the mods first.

Seriously? Wow, you want something for it?

PS. I was thinking about cutting some mounting card into a mask for printing as I think the easel is a bit skee whiff so I can just cut whatever size and go with that.

I may have mentioned a couple of these in earlier posts, but here's some pics (so it did happen :))

My Mamiya M645J is just back from a service by Miles Whitehead. While it was away eBay found me a cheap-ish (non-metering) prism finder, a 'Deluxe' left-hand grip (incorporating a shutter trigger) and a 150mm f/3.5 Sekor C, which will go nicely with the 55mm f/2.8 and 80mm f/2.8 I already have.

The Rollei B35 I bought a couple of months ago.

You thought the T90 was the last FD camera Canon introduced? Wrong, it was the T60.

A Yashica Lynx 5000 bought from Cuchulainn on TP Classifieds

Nostalgia trip: my first SLR was a Praktica PL Nova I, which I think cost a bit more in 1978 than the £11 I paid a couple of weeks ago for this quite nice example with a full case :)

I've been after a decent one of these for a while and managed to get this from Real Cameras in Manchester on saturday.

It needs a CLA from Miles but seems to be in good working/cosmetic order. Just need to start looking for the umpteen lenses to go with it now.

Cheers

Very nice Andy, does it take standard m39 lenses? Also, any sign of Helga yet?

Cheers Nick. It takes a unique Bessamatic fit, its the same as Kodak Retina but Kodak dodged theirs with a small cut out to stop you using them.

And sadly I think Helga may have defected back to the East as she has not arrived here yet.

I look forward to seeing shots from the Bessamatic, I do like the quirky assortment of cameras that crop up on here.

Shame about Helga, you never know she may turn up.

...sadly I think Helga may have defected back to the East as she has not arrived here yet.

I'm more concerned for the shots that people have lost tbh... Pete can always replace the camera and film stock, and even the cached filter attachment ring, but the fact is, theres a bunch of people who's images have gone forever :shake:

Almost forgot, I've updated the Zuiko 50mm to an F1.4
ebay085.jpg

I've bought a very nice 35mm f2.8 Zuiko which arrived last week but haven't used it yet, and I'm still awaiting the arrival of the SMC 50mm f1.4 that I've ordered for my LX.

Is everyone saving up for Christmas, no one posted for nearly a fortnight.

Well I have something new.........

135mm-lens by andysnapper1, on Flickr

A Voigtlander Bessamatic Super-Dynarex 135mm f4, its lovely and shiny and I can't wait until I get the camera back from Miles.

Cheers
