i HATE HATE HATE HATE it.... just wondered who likes it on here and who hates it. Chanelle was performing in the syndicate in blackpool, but someone threw a plastic bottle and it bounced off her head and she ran off crying, and her song carried on because she was miming lol:lol: so back on topic who likes it? who is really a secret voyeur?

I watched the first few but it I think it has now lost it's appeal as the producers constantly think of more outrageous ways to attract an audience.

What am saying:eek:, I am admitting I watched it:gag:

I felt irritated just watching the entering of the house mates tonight, and I only watched it dude to being bored.

Is it just me, or does it get worse each year?

Last year they had some utter....individuals (think that's the nicest way to describe them)

This year, they seem to have out-done themselves.

i mean what the.........

i feel that this guy looking at his picture may have things wrong with him, and it seems like BB is just like the modern day Freak shows of the olden days when they used to laugh at them. i dont like it :S

Big Brother is just a freak and geek show.

I liked the first series, when they actually got on together, formed a proper 'community', appointed leaders etc. That was enjoyable to watch.

Then it went downhill
The one with "bubble" in it was good. (BB2 I think).
After that I lost interest.

They just put people in that are guaranteed to wind each other up and make headlines, either through fighting, racist insults, or sex. It's a load of crap now.

I mean, putting a guy with tourettes in, they knew that was gonna be a ratings winner.

This year we have the token freaks and geeks

The student / political guy
The token black girl with a chip on her shoulder
The token black girl who is 'all that and more'
The token geordie who is outspoken, and hates gays (well, she said she's a catholic, so that's good enough for me).
The openly camp and gay guy.
The one who can't shut up and talks at 15 million miles an hour.

Yep, it's got em all this year, and guess what folks? Big brother promises...yet again...to be 'tougher than ever on the housemates'. What a load of crap.

Look at what they did tonight? First four contestants in, one of them a couple. They set them a secret mission to decieve the rest of the housemates, the man of the couple has to pretend he's never met his girlfriend before, and is actually in a relationship with the other woman of the first four (who he HAS just met). If they fail, theyre up for eviction, and if they pull it off, the rest of the housemates will be up for eviction.

And right before this, you have the couple's interview/application VT explaining that theyre madly in love but they get really jealous with other people....surprise surprise, BB pits them against each other.

It's bordering on sadism (or is it masochism I can never remember which is which).
Getting dogs or cocks to fight is illegal, but getting people to do it on TV is fine?

I'm with the OP, I've never watched an epsiode.

TV at it's worst in my opinion.

I was gonna watch the first episode to see what freaks and jumped up idiots they put in this time, got as far as the first four, then spent the next hour checking my camera kit followed by a quick trawl of the net.

BB must be in stealth mode this year, the first I heard about it was on the bbc news website last night. Pathetic waste of air time imo.

I'm turning the tv off. A choice between big bro and bloody football? I want my license fee back

I'm with you there mate.

I saw a couple of episodes on the first series, with I think nasty nick and Craig and have never seen a single show since.

Why the papers, radio and TV think everyone is interested is beyond me. Give it a week and it'll be Joe Blogs this and Jane Doe that. I'll be thinking who the f*** are they talking about.

It was ground breaking tv when it started, just boring now :( Wont be watching any myself.

the first series was an interesting social experiment, from then on its been a way to keep davina macall on tv and basically a tv freak show

waste of time IMHO

i missed footy :O how when who?

EURO 2008 starts Saturday which is a relief means something to watch on TV while avoiding channel 4 and page upon page in the papers for the next 13 weeks :(

Wheres the cowboy hat waving mad American pilot dropping to earth on a big bomb when you need one lol

Never watched it and do not intend to. Why watch cr@p tv when there is a whole, real world of internet and forums!

I have to admit I usually watch the first 2 weeks or so, then get bored.

As mentioned earlier they seem to have picked the most incompatible people on the planet. There is a christian, a catholic, a muslim (sounds like the start of a joke, but then again it is big brother which has become a joke) im sure they mentioned another religion too.

most of the young girls are single mums (who is looking after their child?)

A blind fella, I just dont understand why he has been put in the house.. not that I have anything against blind people but this just seems to be trying to drive prejudice against him, what if he fails a task, what if some passing comment about helping him out starts a massive arguement.

In the first few hours the blind man was sitting down and someone was talking to him, she then asked "Do you want to go to the kitchen or go and see the garden?" .. lost for words.

a tv show that tries to be popular through notoriety is not good.

I can't understand why people would want to go in the house, i think the best bit of the programme is Davina being sarcastic about the housemates. I thought they were banning anyway because of the racism row:thinking:

Mario said to him when they were talking on the first night "Do you recognise me?"

ting tong the cookie monster for the win..

the guy shown above is an albino, his family are african american, when he went in he said family get togethers can be awkword, hes the only white guy at the table..

the rest are the usual bunch of idiots, the gay man is stereotypical big brother manlover, following the Brian mould that proved popular a couple of seasons back but failed to work the rest of the time.

Saying all that though, you know damn well most of us will end up sneaking a few episodes in...

Mario said to him when they were talking on the first night "Do you recognise me?"

mario stares at people a bit too much..hes creepy..and he does that funny situp thing where you sit with your feet in the air and touch your fingers lightly to your forehead. Get up and eat some food man..

Yeah I want ting tong the cookie monster to win, she looks ace.

I hate it, but I'll still pop an episode in every now and then hoping for a sneaky peek at flesh :p

i expect you will see some flesh!

crunches eh? hmmmm...learn something new every day

well whether ya hate it or love it, or would never admit ya watch it, BB9 is here and i'm addicted :D:D:D as usual....
if anybody has started watching this season's, care to share who you hate, like, and think so far is 'the strongest?' :D
i find its a very addicting show, and watch it from a mind / psychological perspective... every last detail put into it's making (i.e. interiors, rules, people) if you think about it, is all done in a certain manner to screw up everyone's minds over time- i think it's ingeneous!!! lol
well i hate Alexandra, even though I give her mum credit for picking such a fab name :D! She's like the Charlie from '07....some well fit girls in this seasons though  lol
must have been the dumbest idea though (absolutely no offense to the guy- he seems lovely) to put a visually impaired person in the house! :bonk:

lol like, errm like yea like totally like agree like yea :D:D:D:D

Deciding not to buy a new TV (after my girlfriend left with the old one) was the best decision I made in 2007.
