Office workers = Battery hens

I'm sitting in the office looking round at the other workers.

I just can't help thinking that we are not too far away from being battery hens. Instead of pecking at corn all day we tap at keyboards.

What's the meaning of all that?

Anyone agree - or am I just going mad :) ?
 
Least you got all those secretaries (Sorry PA's) to look at, all i have is the countryside..

The only other thing i know about office staff is that if it isnt on their Excel sheet, it cant exist...

Completely agree. I spend most of my day with internet pages open in the background and a wandering mind.....

You should go to Canary Wharf and go one step further......drones in the hive..
 
Well it least you have a job to go to and earn some pennies, even if it is on the corporate grinding mill. I'm self employed and the recession has hit me bad. I'm so bored I'm considering cutting a finger off for fun :)

I feel your pain. I too am self employed. My rate this year is 1/3 of what was a year ago.

Still hate offices :)
