Noooooooo, i'm quite happy with what i have !:D

From everything i have read on the net it looks like the new iMacs will look similar but have internal upgrades. This will do me!!:thumbs:

Still may build a hackintosh one day just for the fun of it or try and get my Dell to run it, now that would be interesting!

Yes but i already have a white bluetooth Logitech mouse which i prefer. I bought it and an apple keyboard for the Mac Mini that i had.
 
Nice one, I'm into about my sixth week of mac ownership and it's been a joy to use.
 
That's good to hear! I must say that this has been a joy to set up and i have had no issues what so ever [touch wood!!]:thumbs:

I have yet to set up the Mail which may be tricky but i have a cure for the BT Yahoo problem so fingers crossed!

Sadly not, no.

Whilst my darling wife is very accommodating to my photography fetish, she would most definitely draw a line (through me!) if I turned up one afternoon with one of those babies tucked under my arm! :shake:

For now I shall have to continue dribbling on my monitor and crossing people off my Christmas card list! :bat::D

Good to see you finally made the move Andy :clap::thumbs:, I've had mine since Aug 07 and the windoz lappy hardly gets turned on now, enjoy the toy, I know you will.

Get downloading it mate.
I just looked, clicked the download and it's going to be about an hour.
I'm getting about a quater of the download speed I usually get.

Git, I'm getting 80k/sec.
But my internet is still fast elsewhere, speedtest.net is telling me I still have 4MB/s spare.
 
I'm on my Mac now too :D the RAM upgrade came in the post today as well so now its running a meaty 4GB :D

Although its a bit of a learning curve after having Windows for so long, I'm enjoying it so much! Got a wireless Mighty Mouse for it today as well.

Enjoy the iMac Andy, I'll be after one in a year or so :)
 
Enjoying every minute mate! What a nice machine!I got 4Gb coming soon so I'll be up to 4Gb as well, not that i really need it at the moment but then i haven't done any photo editing on it yet. Even on 2Gb of ram it runs like a champ!:thumbs:
 
Andy, is that mouse a V470?
That's the only one I can find that's white, but it says it's a notebook mouse.
Is it a similar size to the mighty mouse? And does it support side to side scrolling?

I dunno, my eye sight is too poor to read the writing on the bottom. It has arrows on the top wheel that point to each side. For some reason it stopped working so i am using the wired mighty mouse which is pretty horrible.

Hang on... i just got it working again! Phew!! It is a nice mouse to use and is a little smaller than the mighty mouse but a little taller and much more comfortable.

I have just looked on the web and yes it is the V470.

Do you know if it works with a USB joystick?
 
i don't actually - check out the documentation on the site, i just use the keys and mouse.
